PlatePoa started with a simple frustration: Nairobi professionals spending too much time and money on daily food decisions.

The Problem

Food delivery in Nairobi is dominated by fast food and expensive restaurant orders. For daily eating — the kind of nourishing, home-style meals that Kenyans grew up with — there was a gap.

Our Solution

We built PlatePoa around the concept of weekly meal preparation. Cook fresh once, eat well all week. Our kitchen prepares batches of Kenyan comfort food — chicken bowls, beef pilau, biryani, stews — and delivers them on Sundays and Mondays.
