Your PlatePoa Delivery Questions Answered

How does ordering work? Which areas do you deliver to? Can I pay with M-Pesa? We answer the most common questions about PlatePoa delivery.

Your PlatePoa Delivery Questions Answered
We hear the same questions again and again, so here is everything you need to know about ordering from PlatePoa.

1. Which areas do you deliver to?
We deliver across most of Nairobi, including Lang'ata, Kilimani, Lavington, Kileleshwa, Westlands, Parklands, South B, South C, Buruburu, and many more. If you are unsure, send us a message on WhatsApp and we will check.

2. Is there a minimum order?
Yes, the minimum order is KES 500 per delivery. Most of our bowls are between KES 400 and KES 800, so one or two meals usually covers it.

3. When do you cook and deliver?
We cook and deliver on Sundays and Mondays. Orders placed from Sunday to Wednesday are for the coming weekend. This keeps everything fresh — we buy ingredients after your order is in.

4. Can I pay with M-Pesa?
Absolutely. M-Pesa is our primary payment method. You can also pay via bank transfer or cash on delivery in select areas.

5. How do I place an order?
Order directly through our website or send a message to 0706 632 614 on WhatsApp. We will confirm your order and arrange delivery.

6. Can I cancel or change my order?
Yes — you can cancel or make changes up to 24 hours before your delivery day. After that, the ingredients have already been bought and cooking has started.

7. Do you cater for allergies or dietary needs?
We label all common allergens on our menu. If you have specific requirements, let us know when you order and we will do our best to accommodate.

8. What if I am not home during the delivery window?
No problem. Let your rider know a safe spot, or ask a neighbour to receive it. Meals stay fresh in their insulated packaging for several hours.
